PRRCS
The Program for Regulatory, Reporting, and Certification Services (PRRCS) is designed as a collaborative partnership platform between the Center for Environmental and Regulatory Information Systems (CERIS) at Purdue University and the State Department of Agriculture. This platform will be developed, enhanced, and maintained by CERIS with continuous input from agency stakeholders and end users to ensure it meets evolving operational needs.
PRRCS will modernize regulatory workflows by replacing paper-based processes with secure, web-based tools that provide real-time data access. This enables agency personnel to retrieve critical information anytime and anywhere, improving efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
System Capabilities
PRRCS will support and streamline key division activities through modular system components, including:
Pesticide Product Registration System manages product registrations, issuance, and listings, supports product renewals, and provides inspector tools with field access.
Pesticide Licensing System manages license applications and issuance, supports renewals, tracks continuing education, and provides tools for inspectors.
Fertilizer Program Management System supports product registrations, issuance, and listings, facilitates renewals and tonnage reporting, and provides tools for inspectors.
Financial and Administrative Functions component supports electronic payment integration through a third-party provider and enables comprehensive accounting ledger activity tracking.
Custom & Expandable Program Modules support the development and integration of agency-specific components, enabling tailored solutions that align with evolving regulatory, reporting, and operational needs.
